Coordinators focus on delivery of care through scheduling and continuous communication with our PCA/HHA Division.We are currently seeking candidates to fill 2 remote positions for the following schedules:Schedule 1 (36 hrs)Friday and Monday 6a-8a / 6p-11pSaturday and Sunday 6a-9a / 5p-11pSchedule 2(24 hrs)Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6a-8a / 5p-11pResponsibilities:Maintain schedules for home care clients- scheduling home care staff accordingly. Communicating schedule assignments with staff and clients.Collaborate with recruitment department regarding hiring HHA/PCAs from difficult to serve geographical areas.Documents and reports to Supervisor when there is a change in client status, change in service requirement, change in aide assigned to case, incidents, and complaints.Ability to use time efficiently and efficiently.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated ability to multi-task.Technically savvy - proficient in use of smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other devices.Exceptional communication skills - demonstrated ability to communicate and follow-up in a timely manner.Partners with recruiters and intake coordinators to ensure immediate and effective care coverage.Communicate all relevant information to nurses and homecare clients.Follows up with clients, and families regarding schedule changes, service issues, etc.Qualifications:Working knowledge of NYS DOH Home Care operations preferred.Excellent organizational and time-management skillsAt least 2 years of experience in a Home Care or Health Care settingAt least 2 years experience staffing/schedulingGreat communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail with problem solving skillsStrong customer service backgroundAlways Compassionate Home Care provides equal opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, status as a parent, national origin, age, disability (physical or mental), family medical history or genetic information, political affiliation, military service, or any other non-merit based factors protected federal, state, or local law.
