We are committed to providing kind, competent, and compassionate services to those entrusted to our care and an enjoyable work environment for our staff.Position Overview Staffing Coordinator:The primary purpose of the Staffing Coordinator position is to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census, and as may be directed by facility administration. As a Staffing Coordinator you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.Benefits:We offer a competitive compensation package, healthcare benefits and excellent career growth opportunities. Health Benefits for full-time employees offered 1st of the month following hire date.Essential Duties:Answer employee calls regarding staffing/scheduling functions and prepare written correspondence, as necessary.Handle applicant calls regarding position availability and coordinate interviews as deemed appropriate.Consult with nursing department staff and supervisors concerning the staffing/scheduling needs; assist in elimination/correction of problem areas, and/or improvement of services.Assist in recordkeeping and documentation of attendance and tardiness for employee performance appraisals.Perform miscellaneous duties pertaining to staffing and assist nursing supervisory personnel, as necessary.Qualifications:CA Certified Nursing Assistant.Minimum, a high school education or its equivalent (GED).Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.Supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept.Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.Ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.Able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.Generations Healthcare was founded upon the belief that caring for the sick, the elderly, and the infirm is a special and sacred stewardship.
