This position will work primarily out of the Waldo County General Hospital office in Belfast.
Summary:
This Staffing Coordinator - Central Staffing Resources role collaborates with nurse leaders to develop staffing schedules designed to meet anticipated patient needs, incorporates the education and practice management needs of nursing staff and produces documentation needed to generate a payroll.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
1. Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a health related field or Human Resources preferred.
2. License/Certifications: N/A
3. Experience: One year of recent experience working in an acute care or medical office setting preferred.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Basic knowledge of labor practice regarding overtime, hours worked and differentials. Advanced competency in generating Excel reports.
