Job Description:

MAU is hiring a Staffing Specialist in Ridgeville, SC. As a Staffing Specialist, you will process work orders from customers, recruiters, screens, and orients and hire personnel based on order specifications to work at client sites.

Required Education and Experience

* High school diploma or GED

* 1 - 3+ years of human resource and recruiting experience

Essential Functions

* Hire, supervise, evaluate, counsel, and recommend changes in associate status, including disciplinary actions when necessary.

* Effectively onboard new associates, ensuring alignment with customer-specific standards.

* Administer and enforce company policies and procedures.

* Maintain a steady flow of applicants by placing ads, developing recruiting sources, and analyzing weekly/monthly recruiting reports.

* Regularly review work orders and maintain active communication with customers.

* Audit time records and process payroll accurately.

* Develop and update orientations for both new and existing clients.

* Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills in all interactions.

* Set up new pay and bill rates with management approval.

* Administer client-required assessments.

* Receive, process, and analyze customer work orders for accuracy and action.

* Manage merit, tenure, and incentive increases for associates.

* Submit billing source documents as needed for each client.

* Clearly explain company policies, benefits, and procedures to employees.

* Establish and maintain strong relationships with client management.

* Manage workplace injury cases, conduct accident investigations, and complete Worker's Compensation paperwork.

* Attend unemployment and workers' compensation hearings as required.

* Provide exceptional customer service by conducting scheduled client site visits.

* Ensure quick fulfillment of job orders by maintaining an optimal pool of candidates in Kanban systems for fast turnaround.

This position can supervise the following positions:

* MAU Associates

* Administrative Support

Work Environment or Working Conditions

The working conditions and environments that are created by our customer's facilities both in administrative areas and manufacturing environments. Working conditions will typically be manufacturing or warehouse settings, including process manufacturing equipment and heavy power industrial vehicles. Environments may vary from non-air conditioned (hot/cold) environments to GMP clean room required.

Physical Demands

This position may require the following to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

* Ability to lift 5 - 20 pounds periodically and 50 pounds on occasion

* Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for up to 4 hours

* Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day

* Ability to sit for up to 4 hours

Travel

Frequent travel between the work site and MAU branch will be required. Limited travel overnight, but the ability to travel overnight is preferred.
