Staffing Specialist Job Summary: This role is perfect for a college graduate and is a steppingstone to your career in HR! The successful candidate will be outgoing and ambitious, establish rapport with candidates, the onsite team and the client quickly, have a passion for recruiting and the desire to be successful. This position will play an integral role in helping to meet the demands of our client's temporary staffing needsThis role requires you to work in person at our office location and travel to client sites as needed. What you'll do:
  • Schedule interviews for entry level positions for a variety of roles and clients.
  • Coordinate between candidates and hiring managers or clients and managing Bullhorn/ATS.
  • Responsible for payroll coordination from client to central team, all internal compliance items such as background check and drug testing.
  • Points of contact for candidates during the initial stages of the recruitment process, answering questions from clients and candidates and providing information about the application process and client expectations.
  • Maintain Bullhorn (and any client required) applicant tracking systems (ATS), ensuring candidate information is up to date, and tracking recruitment metrics.
  • Work closely with clients and internal HR personnel to facilitate the smooth progression of candidates to client assignment.
  • Responsible initial resume screening to identify basic qualifications creating new templates per client requirement
  • Make contingent job offer for specific clients as needed
  • Responsible for the onboarding process per client or internal staff, ensuring new hires arrive Day 1 orientation.
  • Liaison with client or clients to understand of open roles to ensure the right candidate is selected
  • Complete regular in person, video or phone check-in with candidates on assignment.
  • Problem solves and communicates internally regarding solutions
  • Send client reporting package, regular meeting with client to ensure positive and ongoing relationship (including call out, fill rate, attrition, etc.)
  • Keyholder for location, responsible for local inventory needs and ordering
  • On-board, train and supervise staff as needed
  • Any other duties as assigned
Skills Required:
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years Customer Service
  • 2+ years' experience in HR administration or Recruiting
  • Competency in all Microsoft products (word, outlook, teams, etc)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling administrative tasks.
  • Basic understanding of recruitment processes and HR practices.
  • Ability to work outside standard hours and travel to client sites for check in as required
