Our Human Resources team is looking for a Staffing Specialist, International Disaster Response and World Medical Mission to join the team in Boone, NC. This position plays a vital role in the hiring process for the International Disaster Response Team members. A day in the life of a Staffing Specialist, International Disaster Response and World Medical Mission:

In the role of Staffing Specialist, International Disaster Response and World Medical Mission, you will have the opportunity to:
* Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
* Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships across the Ministry. This includes:
* Conducting intake meetings for assigned sectors, regular follow-up communications and status updates, and calibrating screening, interviewing, and selection decisions to meet changing needs.
* Develop strategic plans and implement staffing enhancements in conjunction with the Staffing Manager.
* Meet with hiring managers to qualify requisitions, market candidates, schedule interviews, obtain feedback and fill orders.
* Develop and assist, as required, in problem-solving strategies for hiring team issues.
* Maintain relationships with both hiring managers and high-level key stakeholders.
* Manage full-cycle hiring and onboarding process for associate candidates and sectors. Facilitates and conducts interviews, communicates with candidates, and presents offers and new hire documents to candidates.
* Assist in all Human Resource functions such as compensation, timekeeping, payroll, fair employment practices, performance reviews, disciplinary actions and hiring, onboarding and terminations of Samaritan's Purse employees as necessary.
* Stay abreast of current recruiting trends and staffing developments, work with HR Staffing Manager to adjust processes and systems accordingly.
* Participate in off-site recruiting events related to open positions and/or departments assigned, as needed.
* Actively support the Incident Management Team in the Human Resources Liaison role, as assigned.
* All other duties as assigned.
