Job Description:
The Upper Darby School District is looking for applicants for Stage Crew in the Performing Arts Center.This is a part-time position. The hourly rate is $9.27 per hour. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least one year of experience on the Upper Darby High School Stage Crew
  • Currently an active member of the Upper Darby High School Stage Crew
  • Ability to commit time outside of the school day and week to work non-high school events and productions
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Has a passion for learning
  • Ability to think creatively
  • Willingness to be challenged and grow skills as a theatrical technician
  • Ability to work in a group environment and/or independently under the supervision of the Production Manager
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to setting up and taking down stage setups
  • Ability to conduct self in a professional manner while working with members of the public, outside organizations and school district personnel.
