The ideal candidate will have outstanding internal and external customer service skills and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team on deadline-critical projects. You should be able to juggle multiple projects and demands simultaneously, prioritizing and delegating tasks as needed. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential, along with critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. The candidate should be able to recommend new procedures where appropriate while adhering to current policies, procedures, and best practices.   • Directing Performance Order at the event.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Managing the stage, backstage, and dressing room areas for cleanliness and safety.
  • Developing lasting relationships with our clients.
Event Logistics
  • Collaborate with the Announcer to ensure a smooth running performance order.
  • Preparation of awards throughout the weekend for each awards ceremony.
  • Maintain a positive attitude while creating a smooth and relaxed environment for our clients and dancers backstage.
Teaching & Movement
  • The ability to teach a short jazz combination onstage to dancers of all ages while demonstrating & engaging the audience.
Sales Associate Cross-Training
  • Participate in cross-training to support the sales associate during peak times, contributing to both sales and attendee satisfaction.
  • Occasionally collaborate with the sales associate to provide seamless customer service, handle transactions, restock inventory, and maintain a visually appealing display.
Skills and Experience
  • Dance knowledge & or a background in dance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication skills & customer service experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong desire to work in a competitive dance event environment and a firm commitment to the value of the arts.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Physical and Logistical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds.
  • Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
  • Enjoyment of travel, including airports, Ubers, minivans, and road trips.
  • Willingness to share a hotel room during events with a fellow employee of the same sex.
Work Environment and Personal Attributes
  • Ability to work long hours while maintaining a positive demeanor in a dynamic, exciting environment.
  • Ability to work with a diverse team while displaying a strong work ethic.
  • Background, drug, and alcohol screening required.
IMPORTANT POSITION EXPECTATIONSIndividuals will work from mid-January through May, with the possibility of extension for our National Finals through mid-July. Individuals must reside in reasonable proximity to a US international airport and have the flexibility to travel 8-12 weekends, departing as early as Thursday morning and returning home as late as Monday evening for all regional events. All incoming event staff will be required to attend an audition prior to being offered an agreement for the 2025 touring season.**Audition will be held January 3-8, 2025, in Eagle, Idaho.**Salary Description Range of $425-$800 per weekend
