Key Responsibilities
- Stan/Eval Product Development: Develop, review, monitor, and/or refine products (checklists, templates, job aids, evaluation scripts, processes, procedures, etc.) to maintain efficient and repeatable operational task flows and associated certification events. .
- Stan/Eval Product Review: Author, critically review, and/or coordinate staff review of documents, briefings, and products supporting stan/eval activities relating to capability integration, space operations, command and control, wargaming, exercises, intelligence support, and other operational or functional areas in support of the director and other NSDC leadership.
- Stan/Eval Cross-Functional Coordination: Assist with stan/eval functional review and operational input to other NSDC divisions, e.g., current operations, future operations, etc., on topics such as the Joint Planning Process, Course of Action development, mission analysis, etc.
- Stan/Eval Division Team Member: Monitor and track status of products, projects, and activities, and report readiness as directed for ongoing day-to-day requirements. Perform other related duties as assigned/required.
Work Environment
- Location: On-site in the National Space Defense Center at Schriever Space Force Base
- Travel Requirements: 10% or Less Minimal Travel
- Working Hours: Standard 40 hours per week
QualificationsRequired:
- Clearance: Top Secret with the ability to obtain SCI, SAP, and Polygraph.
- Standardization and Evaluation Experience: Stan/Eval experience with checklist-based, time-critical operations (e.g., space operations, missile operations, flight operations, air defense operations, command post, etc.).
- Military Operations and Staff Experience: Minimum of 15 years experience in related operational career field.
- Outstanding Written, Oral Communication, and Public Speaking Skills: Ability to write clearly and speak confidently, to include generating stan/eval materials and briefing large audiences and senior military leaders.
- Self-Motivated with Team Leadership Abilities: Ability to self-motivate, operate independently, and manage team elements to meet contract requirements, and experience leading diverse teams and personnel of varying experience levels and skill sets.
Desired
- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field is desired.
- Instructional System Design: Experience with ISD (Instructional System Design) at unit-level or schoolhouse-level is desired.
- Stan/Eval Leadership: Stan/Eval leadership experience (flight commander, senior crew, evaluation chief, etc.) is desired.
- Operations Instructor: Instructor experience (unit-level, line instructor, classroom, schoolhouse, IQT, UQT, tech training, etc.) is desired.
- Service School/Development Education/Professional Military Education: Graduate of JPME Phase II, graduate of Intermediate Service School, and/or graduate of Senior Service School is desired.
- Leadership and Staff Experience: Graduated O-5 commander and/or operations officer/executive officer experience, combatant command headquarters, Joint Staff, service headquarters, and/or major command headquarters branch chief (or higher) experience is desired.
- Military Planning Experience: Experience in Joint Planning Process (JPP); Military Decision Making Process (MDMP); Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) enterprise; Planning Initiation; Mission Analysis; Course of Action (COA) development; Joint Doctrine development, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes, Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), war gaming and exercises, is desired.
- Combatant Command Experience: Staff experience in one or more of the following: field component HQ (e.g., brigade-level, wing-level, major service component, Combatant Command, Service Component HQ required; Combined Forces Space Component Command, Space Forces Space, and/or Joint Staff is highly desired.
- Functional Area Experience: Familiarity with Space Situational Awareness/Space Domain Awareness, Space Command and Control, Degraded/Denied/Disrupted Space Operations Environment (D3SOE), intelligence systems and operating concepts, Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations (IJSTO) and/or multidomain operations experience is highly desired.
- Productivity Software: Experience with Microsoft Office software suite preferred
Scheduled Weekly Hours40 hours per weekBasic Compensation$140,000 - $160,000The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.Additional CompensationKBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
