Advantage Resourcing is seeking a Stand up Forklift / Reach Truck Operator for a local distribution center in Port Allen, LA. In this role, you will operate powered industrial Reach Trucks and order pickers to efficiently move products, equipment, and materials. Your responsibilities will include accurately using a handheld scanner, loading and unloading trailers, and maintaining a clean working environment. You'll also be expected to commit to process excellence, understand the company's quality policy, and work in varying warehouse temperatures while lifting up to 50 lbs. Additionally, you'll handle inbound receiving processes to ensure smooth operations. What You Need to Succeed:
- Minimum of 4 years of warehouse experience
- Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Capable of moving materials on wheeled carts weighing up to 500 lbs
- Proficient in lifting objects of various shapes and sizes
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull
- Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Skilled in using hands and fingers to handle tools or equipment
- Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
