STARLINK CRISIS RESPONSE MANAGER Starlink, our revolutionary satellite constellation, has the capability to deliver low-latency broadband internet worldwide. Whether responding to natural disasters or extraordinary circumstances, Starlink has repeatedly provided critical communications in exceptional circumstances. We are looking for an adept and versatile individual to lead the preparations, coordinate internal responses, and interface with outside organizations and government officials when a crisis occurs. This role will require working across multiple internal teams, such as logistics, market access, legal, global trade and compliance, enterprise account management, government affairs and engineer. You will develop the processes, tools, relationships and approach to ensure a rapid and sustainably ability to respond. RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and implement scalable processes and procedures to respond to needs for Starlink when crisis situations emerge, integrating with existing processes and systems where sensible Lead responses, traveling an interfacing externally as necessary to accomplish company objectives Lead strategy development for how to ensure sustainable financial operations while responding timely to crises Coordinate internal responses across multiple teams, as required Develop and report metrics to measure success, predict and account for costs, and implement associated improvements Build and manage strategic relationships with key organizations and individuals focused on disaster response When necessary, execute contracts end-to-end ensuring successful and rapid delivery, activation and operation, including serving as an initial account manager (primary point of contact) for the recipient(s) BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree 3+ years of experience in consulting, project management, or managing responses to crises PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Experience and strong relationships with emergency and crisis response organizations, whether non-governmental organizations, government representatives or regional alliances Demonstrated ability to design reasonable and scalable processes from blank sheet through implementation Exceptional project management and problem-solving skills Strong business judgement Strong grasp of geopolitics Demonstrated ability to lead informal teams in high pressure and under tight timeframes Willingness to learn and perform all aspects of the work required to deploy Starlink in a crisis Experience supporting or surviving a crisis situation (natural disaster, humanitarian response, etc.) Demonstrated ability to define and project manage a new product or program into implementation ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Willingness to travel internationally on short notice and for extended durations Must be available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to support critical emergency responses COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Pay range: Strategic Connectivity Manager: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00/per year Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
