Responsibilities:
- Reads plans/blueprints and performs necessary work
- Can read/interpret installation, operation, and maintenance manuals (IOMs) and submittals to troubleshoot and configure HVAC systems
- Can perform standard operations and tasks associated with the start-up and commissioning of various types of HVAC equipment
- Comfortable with refrigerant piping and can successfully execute its installation
- Maintains a complete set of tools
Qualifications:
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for company assets used on job site
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Make purchases at local supply houses following company procedure
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Joumeyrnan or Master license
- CFC Universals required
- Vo-tech or trade school education in specified field preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of HVAC
- Able to perform mathematical calculations
- Knowledge of tools and equipment to complete a job
- Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents
- Able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of solutions and approaches to problems
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must have the ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Must have own transportation
- Spend long periods of time standing
- Ability to climb ladders to perform work
- Work in high elevations
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Periodic travel to multiple job locations
- May be subjected to inclement weather and hazardous working conditions
- Work weekend or night-time duty, as needed
