Building homes is not just our job; it's our passion, ingrained in our DNA.Your Next Great AdventureThe Starts Coordinator is responsible for obtaining the necessary permits to begin new home construction in the division's communities. Key duties include ensuring that all components of the permit application package (e.g., completed forms, floorplans, plot plans, payments) are accurate and complete, and providing Construction Managers with the correct floorplan and elevation plans before construction starts.QualificationsSuccess is Built On
  • College Degree preferred, but not required
  • 1 + year of homebuilding, construction permitting, or purchasing experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exemplary customer service skills.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly in fast-paced high work volume
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees
  • Flexibility to help assist with new task and office change
  • Capacity to prioritize and delegate tasks
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi- task and prioritize work
  • Must have a valid driver's license and successfully pass a background check
