They are specifically known for high quality installation and service and are experienced in commercial healthcare, educational, life science, pharmaceutical, and state/federal government work.They are looking for mechanical or electronic focused candidates who are interested in joining this growing commissioning team. In this role the candidate will maintain a high level of understanding of total HVAC and plumbing installation and operation, equipment capabilities, and controls systems architecture and sequences. This person will have an understanding of system start-up, test and balancing, commissioning and diagnosis.The candidate must have a high level of skill in troubleshooting of multiple trades and types of systems such as:- Electrical circuits and systems- Control components and systems- Mechanical equipment such as chillers, cooling Towers, air handling units and fans plumbing equipment such as air compressors, vacuum pumps, and sump pumps- Hydronic systems and components- Air flow dynamics and components- Have overall ability to accurately diagnose and report problem situations- Understand and stay current with industry trends and standards- Ability to read and interpret documents- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence- Assembly and disassembly of various pieces of equipment- Activation of equipment and ability to find startup requirements in the installation manualBase salary, $65K - $75K, a company car is provided, there is very little overnight travel, and on-call work is not mandatory.
