The State Budget Office (SBO) is responsible for developing the governors Executive Budget recommendation, presenting budget recommendations to the Legislature, and implementing the approved budget signed by the governor. The Office of Health and Human Services (OHHS) is responsible for budget matters related to programs administered by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). This includes Michigans: Medicaid and other public assistance programs, public and mental health programs, and child welfare functions. As a Human Services Section Manager within OHHS, this critical role will provide professional, administrative, and analytical support to aid in aligning, directing, implementing, and monitoring departmentwide organizational activities including: Coordinating and directing the work of budget analysts to prepare assigned portions of the Executive Budget.
