Job SummaryWe are seeking a certified Massachusetts State Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and accurate inspections of vehicles to ensure they comply with state regulations and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems and components, as well as extensive knowledge of Massachusetts inspection regulations and guidelines. You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well with customers and other team members. A valid Massachusetts State Inspector license is required for this position.   • Conduct thorough and accurate inspections of vehicles to ensure they comply with Massachusetts regulations and safety standards
  • Follow established inspection procedures and guidelines, and maintain accurate records of inspections performed
  • Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors to explain inspection results and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance services
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest inspection regulations and guidelines, and attend training sessions and seminars as required
  • Ensure all inspections are completed safely and to the highest quality standards, and comply with all relevant regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure all equipment and tools are properly calibrated and in good working condition
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customers receive timely and accurate inspection results and recommendations
  • Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient and effective operations of the inspection center
  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanor, and represent the company in a positive manner at all times.
Qualifications
  • Valid drivers license
  • Be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
  • Read and write English
