Location: Fairmont,WV, USA
Global Science & Technology, Inc (GST), a growing scientific and high technology company, is seeking a State IT Group Hardware Software Support Technician to assist with the setup and configuration of hardware and software in the State Group. This position is located in Fairmont, WV.
Position Summary:
The IT Support Intern will learn the implementation of hardware and software within the State, County, and Municipal customer environments. The position will require fundamental or junior-level experience in hardware, networking, and software application development.
Primary Duties:
* Receiving inventory into the office for prep and configuration
* Assist Junior and Senior staff with equipment prep
* Assist with Cybersecurity Policy and Documentation requirements
* Local travel to assist with customers in the Tri-County area, all within a 30-minute drive
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
* Associate Degree with courses related to basic network concepts and software development fundamentals. Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or equivalent military or industry experience will be considered.
U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) is required.
