OVERVIEW:
The Organization. The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) is the principal trade association for the those in the business of information. Our members include over 400 firms involved in academic publishing, education technology, and financial information, along with creators of software and platforms used by millions all over the world.
Function. SIIA seeks a highly motivated individual to join our Policy and Government Affairs team to coordinate SIIA's engagement in state legislative activity that affects SIIA's membership. The role will focus on privacy, artificial intelligence, and children's privacy and safety. This individual will play an integral role in the development of SIIA's policy positions by monitoring state-level developments, building industry and legislative relationships, and working closely with SIIA's policy experts and member companies. This position is an excellent opportunity for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and who have an interest in shaping technology policy.
