Shift: Day Shift (part time) or 11p-7a (part time or full time) at New Phila Campus3p-11p (part time) or 11p-7a (part time or full time) at Dover CampusSalary: Up to $18.75/hourGeneral Job Summary:Provides personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living to residents, while promoting independence in accordance with safety standards. Observes and reports changes in residents' physical and emotional condition to nurse or supervisor. Fosters self-respect and a feeling of worth in each resident by consistent understanding and kindness in care.Scope of Job Tasks:Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and transferring. Provides residents with tub baths and obtains weight for nurse. Must obtain certification within 4 months of hire. Must have basic communication skills and a willingness to learn and be taught by others. Must be able to read, write, and follow oral instructions.Work Experience:Previous health care-related experience preferable, but not essential. On-the-job training available. Will work under close supervision, but must be self-directed and motivated.Physical Demands:Good physical and mental health. Must be able to endure constant standing and walking throughout shift. Must be able to turn, stoop, bend, stretch, and lift to complete aforementioned job tasks. Must have good finger and hand dexterity to handle delicate equipment.
