Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role within the education sector. Familiarity with Tennessee special education practices. Strong leadership skills with a focus on fostering an inclusive and supportive team culture. Excellent communication skills, particularly in translating technical concepts for diverse audiences. Understanding of educational platforms and data management systems is a plus. Oversee day-to-day help desk operations, ensuring timely and tailored support. Prioritize and escalate issues related to special populations appropriately. Foster a culture of empathy and understanding for the needs of special populations. Develop and implement training programs to enhance team members' awareness and skills related to special education processes and TN PULSE. Develop and implement support strategies to address the specific needs of end users. Ensure that the help desk team is equipped to assist users with a range of abilities and requirements. Advocate for and contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement. Act as a liaison between the help desk team and other departments to ensure alignment with the platform's goals.
