A prominent Insurer who has experienced double digit growth for the past 15 years has recently acquired a large business and are in thr procress of growing out one of their reporting teams looking at Workers Compensation.
They are looking for someone who has a bacgkround within Insurance and workers compensation.
Location: Jersey City
Work style: Semi Remote (once or twice a month in office)
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 (Depending on experience)
The Role
- Prepare documentation to support aggregate financial and state-specific data reporting for the middle market book of business.
- Assist with payment obligations related to the middle market segments financial experience.
- Contribute to financial data call strategy, including managing timelines, ensuring data quality, and fulfilling reporting obligations.
- Address bureau criticisms and collaborate with staff to resolve systemic data anomalies.
- Support enterprise-wide data transformation initiatives, including activities related to data stores.
- Analyze regulatory bulletins and communicate impacts to IT and Claims stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a process documentation repository for seamless workflow transitions during account renewals.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Workers Compensation insurance, including statistical reporting requirements.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Bachelors degree preferred, with at least 4 years of experience in statistical reporting for Workers Compensation insurance, including knowledge of statistical plans and claims data
