Qualifications you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Experience with statutory reporting and compliance within the insurance industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., Excel, financial reporting software).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills, etc.

Your key responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely quarterly and annual financial filings for insurance departments and the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in regulatory reporting.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor statutory and industry standards to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Utilize and maintain applicable software for statutory reporting purposes.
- Assist with state and federal inquiries, audits, and statutory examinations.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify opportunities for streamlining statutory reporting processes.
- Provide management reporting packages to support decision-making.
- Perform general ledger functions to assist with monthly close activities.
- Take on special projects and assignments as needed.
