Steak 'n Shake shift leaders are an integral part of team.As a Shift Leader you will:
- Assist the management team by providing leadership, direction and supervision to Team Members during their shift, while ensuring a high - quality experience for guests.
- Provide day to day operational leadership by delegating shift duty assignments to staff/students, oversee front end and back of restaurant operations, ensuring products and ingredients are stocked and available based on forecasting, and training new team members.
- Work with the team members to ensure food standards, presentation, and quality are met in a timely fashion.
- Provide excellent customer service to all guest through front end and back end operations
- Greeting all guests in a friendly manner.
- Accurately entering orders and performing cashier duties.
- Ingredient and food preparation,
- Front end and kitchen stocking and inventory.
- Cleaning, sanitation and dish machine operation.
- Performing opening and closing procedures.
- Monitoring food quality and safety.
- Addressing guest concerns.
