Job Description: Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a steam trap and steam tracing mechanic for a chemical company in Kalama, Washington. The person in this position will be doing steam tracing, steam trap maintenance, pump troubleshooting, repairs, and pipe fitting work in a heavy industrial facility.Pay: $35.05-$39.40/hrSteam Trap Mechanic Responsibilities:Steam tracingSteam trap maintenanceRiggingPipefittingWeldingPerforming scaffolding activitiesInstalling flanges, valves, and pipe blindingVarious other maintenance mechanic duties as assigned.Steam Trap Mechanic Qualifications:2years of Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright experience, preferably in a petrochemical plant or refinery environment.Steam tracing and or steam trap maintenance experienceBoilermaker experience preferredCommon knowledge of rigging, pipefitting, and scaffolding activitiesKnowledge of Shop math, operate forklift, versed in plant safetyAble to interpret schematics and read blueprintsCompensation:$35.05-$39.40/hourMedicalExcellent union benefits!Paid Holidays and Sick TimeExpected Travel Time: None.
