What You Can Expect
As our Steam Fitter I, at The Ohio State University, you will maintain, repair, and install system components for steam, condensate, chilled water, natural gas, heating hot water and associated components such as valves, expansion joints, flex lines, flanges, steam traps, check valves. Operate system valves for facility repairs and distribution, read and prepare sketches. Every day you will follow operating, safety and environmental standards, and work as part of a maintenance team with a goal of decreasing downtime and improving efficiency. You will report to the Distribution Maintenance Manager.

Hourly: $29.81 USD hourly
Your position is part of a bargaining unit represented by CWA 4501. Many of the terms and conditions of your employment, including but not limited to work scheduling, wages, vacation, sick leave, and other benefits, will be governed by a collective bargaining agreement (the CBA ) between the Company and the union
