Assist Steamfitter Journeymen and Apprentices in performing duties as directed by supervisor, to include training in shop fabrication processes and job site installations within union contract.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:â ¢ Assist in fabrication and installation of piping products andsystemsâ ¢ Work with journeymen and apprentices to construct fabrications from drawingsâ ¢ Assemble and disassemble scaffoldâ ¢ Assist in cutting, measuring and assembling productsâ ¢ Deliver material to job sitesâ ¢ Assist in the loading, unloading, and organized storage of materialsâ ¢ Maintain a LEAN working environmentâ ¢ Grind and core drillâ ¢ Assist in demolitionâ ¢ Other duties may be assigned in accordance with the local union bargaining agreementQUALIFICATIONS:â ¢ High School Diploma or equivalent GEDâ ¢ Ability to work with mathematical conceptsâ ¢ Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsâ ¢ Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawlâ ¢ Conscientious and safety-minded attitudeâ ¢ Valid driver's license with good driving recordPre-Employment Screening required after employment offer:â ¢ Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Records and Substance AbuseT/G is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer#J-18808-Ljbffr
