Job DescriptionJob Title: Structural Steel Detailer Job Type: Full-timeJob Description:The Structural Steel Detailer will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and models for structural steel components, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. This role requires proficiency in Tekla software and a solid understanding of structural steel fabrication processes. Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and modify detailed shop drawings and erection plans for structural steel components using Tekla software.
  • Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to develop accurate steel details.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to clarify project requirements.
  • Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies and providing solutions to design issues.
  • Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and best practices related to structural steel detailing.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in drafting, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Tekla software is essential.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural steel detailing.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes and structural design.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
