Primary Function : Fill absences, temporary vacancies, and provide relief for Melt Shop operations lines of progressions (Melting, Casting, Refractory, and Cranes). Tools and Equipment: Radio controlled overhead crane, forklift, brooms, shovels, wheelbarrow, oxygen carts, lances, cutting torches, jack hammer, etc. Materials: Alloys, lime, electrodes, bricks, gunning material, etc. Source of Supervision: Melt Cast Facilitator and First Helper/First Caster. Direction Exercised : None Working Procedure :1. Assist Crews as required2. General clean up of Melt Shop as required3.
