Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
As a STEMI Quality Improvement Nurse Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize cardiac patient outcomes. Responsible for the clinical efficiency and effectiveness of the Cardiovascular STEMI service line. Acts as the primary point person for Sinai Hospital's advanced STEMI program. Under limited supervision, assists in planning, organizing, coordinating, educating, and evaluating the STEMI protocols, policies, and guidelines. Provides cardiovascular focused education and evaluates the cardiovascular service line performance with a commitment to evidence-based practice. Collect, abstract, enter, and analyze data for State required registries.
Responsibilities include:
· Data analysis/ abstraction
· Participation in quality and performance improvement projects
· Coordination of patient care
· Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Maryland Registered Nurse License
Three to five (3-5) years of experience required
