Job Responsibilities:
- The Sterile Processing Tech Lead assembles complex trays.
- Prioritizes instruments and uses critical thinking skills to provide solutions for OR needs.
- Assembles instrumentation accurately and efficiently.
- Assumes leadership and supervisory role within the department.
- Decontaminates instruments in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Ensures sterility of all processed items.
Position Requirements:
- Certification - Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or CBSPD certification Upon Start, certification from The International Association of Healthcare Central
- Service Materiel Management (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).
- Licensure - None required
- Experience - 2 years of experience in Sterile Processing
- Education - High School or GED
