Position Summary:The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for task-based sterile processing activities. Responsible for activities including, but not limited to decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation including various software applications, assembly, and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts, paring and replenishment of materials, and working in collaboration with surgical partners to provide accurate and complete surgical instrumentation and needed supplies.
Qualifications:Required: High school diploma or GED.Preferred: 1 year in sterile processing.
Certifications:Required: BLS, IAHCSMM or CBSPD certified.
