Responsibilities
- Responsible for the decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments, and the cleaning of patient care equipment.
- Actively participate in quality and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure accurate documentation of the sterilization process and actively reports abnormalities to leadership.
- Participate in proper receiving and reprocessing activities related to loaner and consignment sets.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
Preferred Job Requirements
- Graduate of a Surgical Technology or Sterile Processing program
- Sterile Processing Tech experience
