Weekly Pay Range - $1585 To $1761 Job Title: Sterile Processing Technologist Job Specialty: Sterile Processing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: N/A Certifications: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) and Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) within 12 months of hire Must-Have: Ability to function in a low oxygen environment (8,000' in elevation) Job Description: - Clean, disinfect, and sterilize all instruments used for surgical procedures and patient care.- Perform daily biological and sterile supply testing and maintain logs.- Organize and direct instrument needs to units throughout the facility.- Assist clinical operations as needed with endoscopy procedures.- Stock and order supplies for the unit as directed.- Understand and complete competencies based on policy guidelines and industry standards for sterile processing department practices.- Collaborate with department members to ensure an efficient, professional, and respectful working environment.- Communicate effectively with other departments regarding patient safety. Additional Information: - Housing in surrounding towns may be necessary due to high costs.- Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing.- The position does not currently accept requests for time off in advance.- Review disputes within a 30-day timeframe, or they will be denied.- Holiday coverage is not required.
