Job Responsibilities:
* The Sterile Processing Tech Lead assembles complex trays.
* Prioritizes instruments and uses critical thinking skills to provide solutions for OR needs.
* Assembles instrumentation accurately and efficiently.
* Assumes leadership and supervisory role within the department.
* Decontaminates instruments in a safe and appropriate manner.
* Ensures sterility of all processed items.
Position Requirements:
* Certification - Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or CBSPD certification Upon Start, certification from The International Association of Healthcare Central
* Service Materiel Management (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).
* RCST required.
* Licensure - None required
* Experience - 2 years of experience in Sterile Processing
* Education - High School or GED
