We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join a reputable hospital network based in Westchester County, NY at their locations in White Plains and the Bronx. You will play a critical role in the sanitation and infection control efforts of a healthcare facility, sterilizing instruments and equipment, processing and maintaining inventory, and fulfilling supply requests.The base pay range for this position is $33 to $36 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer. This is a true temp-to-perm role; you can gain access to company benefits, paid time off, and more perks once you transition!*Responsibilities:** Preparing medical equipment and instruments for decontamination* Operating equipment to clean, disinfect and decontaminate surgical instruments, medical devices and equipment* Inspecting instruments and equipment for signs of damage and wear and tear* Unpacking, checking and stocking new equipment, instruments and devices* Delivering equipment and supplies to all areas of the facility* Responding to emergency supply requests during surgical procedures* Maintaining accurate records of when items undergo sterilization* Monitoring temperature and humidity conditions within storage areas*Requirements:** Sterile Processing Tech Certification* BLS* At least one year of prior experience#INDEEDTHJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $33.00 - $36.00 per hourSchedule:* Evening shiftApplication Question(s):* What phone number and email should we use to contact you?Work Location: In person
