NOW HIRING a Sterile Processor for a Nursing Home located in Little Neck, NY!Job Description:Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical.Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor, no matter how minor they may be.Coordinate daily services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or residential areas.Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, bathroom fixturesClean floors to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfectingDiscard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner.Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies.Follow proper techniques when mixing chemicals, disinfectants, and solutions used for cleaning. Refer to manufacturer s instructions when necessary.Use appropriate personal protective equipment and supplies when handling infectious materials and/or hazardous wastes or chemicals.Skills & Qualifications:1+ year of experience with sterilization in healthcare setting (preferably nursing home setting)High School DiplomaSchedule:Monday-Friday 7am-3pm with alternating weekends (first week will be M-F, following week 2 weekdays off)About ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
