Position: Sterile Processing Technician
Location: Rochester, NY 14617
Duration: 13-week contract (Possible extension)
Shift hours: 9:00 a.m. 5:30 p.m.
Day: 40 hours weekly.
The address is Unity Hospital, 100 Kings Highway S., Suite 2300, Rochester, NY 14617
Call Requirement: Approx. every 3rd weekend (Saturday 8 AM Monday 8 AM)
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certification as a sterile processing technician is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sterile processing or a related field.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
