Job Description:

Pride Health is hiring a STERILE PROCESSING TECHNICIAN to support our client's medical facility in COLORADO and other locations. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

The Sterile Processing Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of surgical procedures by managing the sterilization and preparation of medical instruments and equipment. This position involves the cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of surgical tools, adhering to strict infection control protocols. The technician must possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Collaborating closely with surgical teams, the Sterile Processing Technician ensures that all instruments are properly prepared and available, contributing to optimal patient outcomes and supporting the overall functioning of the healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Inspect and maintain the functionality of instruments.
  • Assemble and prepare instrument trays for surgical procedures.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
  • Document sterilization processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of instruments.
  • Operate sterilization equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Qualifications:

  • BLS/ACLS certifications required.
  • CRCST AND CER (Certified Endoscope Reprocessor) certification required
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and stress management skills.

  • Location: Colorado and other locations
  • Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract
  • Shifts: day
  • Weekly Pay : $ 1590 to $1790

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
