Job Description:
Responsible for daily set up, maintenance, action stations, and breakdown/clean up of buffets in the dining room, as well as bussing and setting tables, and delivery of food to tables. Responsibilities Set up and breakdown buffet with food items, utensils, and proper signs, by scheduled start time. Maintain food appearance, temperature, and quality throughout the meal period. Alert the chef of any quality issues with food. Maintain buffet time logs for food items. Cook omelets, waffles, carve meats, ladle soup, toss salads, brew coffee, prepare desserts, and perform other services at action stations. Greet and assist guests with introduction to buffet items, help open chaffers, carry plates. Polish and maintain all buffet equipment. Maintain overall presentation of dining room by ensuring that linens and chairs are clean and straight, floors, walls and windows are clean, light bulbs are not burnt out.
