OverviewAthletic Development Mission:To invite alumni and friends of Utah State University to support Aggie athletics through engagement and philanthropy.Position Summary:Under the direction of the Associate Athletics Director for Development with additional oversight and coordination from the Director of Development for Annual Giving, responsibilities of the Stewardship & Hospitality Event Coordinator (Program Associate) include, but are not limited to: developing stewardship and donor relations strategies and experiences, execution of events and programs that enhance the Big Blue Club donor experience, donor acknowledgments, impact reporting, executing gameday operations for premium spaces, ensuring seamless and exceptional premium experiences at Maverik Stadium and Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.The Stewardship & Hospitality Event Coordinator works closely with campus partners to conceptualize and administer donor relations activities in support of recognizing gifts to Utah State University Athletics by creating unique experiences and meaningful communications for current prospects and donors. These experiences and celebrations may occur both surrounding and independent of athletics contests. The position will also manage game day operations for premium seating and hospitality areas for football, and communication plan for premium seating donors.Responsibilities* Deliver exceptional experiences to prospects and donors of Utah State University Athletics.* Plan and execute of all events for the Big Blue Club including Aggie Auction, Hall of Fame, Big Blue Classic golf tournament, athletic team reunions.* Develop a comprehensive donor relations and stewardship strategy for the purpose of donor retention and customer service to include fundraising and acquisition events, benefit fulfillment, premium engagement, and gift acknowledgements.* Strategically execute gameday operations for premium seating spaces, ensuring seamless and exceptional customer experiences at Maverik Stadium and Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.* Coordinate with and train hospitality staff including interns, development assistants, and president's ambassadors.* Collaborate with internal stakeholders in oversight and creation of menus, booking event space, operations manuals, vendor contracts, and service providers.* Helps define stewardship and event success metrics, facilitate de-brief meetings, track feedback, and ensure suggestions are enacted where appropriate.* Support other athletics development and Advancement initiatives as needed.* Willingness to work athletics events, including nights and weekends, is required.* Some travel may be required.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:* Four years combination of education and/or experience* Commitment to following NCAA rules.Preferred Qualifications:* Bachelors degree* Two years of successful experience in donor stewardship / event planning / customer service / hospitality or related field* Experience in college athletics as a student-athlete, coach or administrator.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* Knowledge and experience in using fundraising software and CRM systems.* Strong communication skills, including excellent writing and editing skills.* Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.* Highly developed organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to work under pressure to multi-task, and meet competing deadlines.* Ability to foster positive interpersonal relationships and professional image with external and internal constituencies.Required DocumentsAlong with the online application, please attach:Resume/CV to be uploaded at the beginning of your application in the Candidate Profile under Resume/CV Name and contact information for 3 professional references to be entered into Candidate Profile Cover letter to be typed/pasted at the end of your applicationDocument size may not exceed 10 MB.Advertised SalaryCommensurate with experience, plus excellent benefitsADAEmployees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes.
