DescriptionThe STIIIZY Janitor I cleans buildings, removes debris, and keeps areas in orderly condition. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors by vacuuming and buffing, shampooing rugs, washing wallsand glass, emptying trash receptacles, and replacing lining of trash cans.
- Cleans and services restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
- Duties may include tending furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk.
- Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.

- Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand for part of the shift.
- Must be able to pick up at least 40 pounds safely.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior janitorial experience is preferred.
- Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be over 21 years of age.
- Available to work various schedules.
- Flexible availability to workday and night shifts.
- Must be able to work at least 40 hours a week.
- Report on-time, regular attendance with reliable service performance.
- Complete assigned work on time with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of cleaning products and willing to add on additional skills
- Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Willingness and ability to undergo cross-training in various roles is required.
