REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services Department or their designeeSTIPEND POSITION OVERVIEW: The Behavioral Health Services Department (BHS) seeks to develop a talent pool of current BHS School Psychologists to provide crisis support as needed before or after the work day.This opportunity will occur primarily as needed from August 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 as needed.RESPONSIBILITIES: The BHS School Psychologists will need to be trained in mental health crisis response procedures. They will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the Office of Social Work and the social workers as well as the other mental health staff on scene
- Support in the development of a crisis response plan
- Provide direct crisis response services to students, staff, and families
- Track services given and share that information with the crisis lead
The stipend will be paid at the hourly rate of $56.81 once the responsibilities are completed.QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED:
- Currently working in Boston Public Schools;
- Appropriate school psychologist licensure
- Trained in crisis response protocols
