Job Summary The STNA / CNA / NA provides routine daily nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). This role involves assisting patients with activities of daily living, monitoring patient conditions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene.
- Assist patients with mobility, including transferring, ambulating, and positioning.
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respirations).
- Assist with feeding and meal preparation as needed.
- Maintain patient records and documentation accurately and timely.
- Report changes in patient condition to the RN.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe patient environment.
- Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Current STNA / CNA / NA certification in good standing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients, requiring physical strength and endurance.
