Overview Sanctuary Hospice is currently seeking a Per Diem State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our dedicated team providing patient care in and around the Canfield Area! This position is Per Diem providing support as needed. As a Hospice STNA with Sanctuary Hospice, you will play a vital role in the lives of our patients, working under the guidance of a registered nurse to provide essential services and ensure their comfort and well-being. - Provide Personalized Care: Follow the carefully crafted plan of care to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients. Attend promptly to the requests of patients and their family/caregiver, offering compassionate and unwavering support.
- Assist with Personal Care: Support patients with various personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing. Your presence during these intimate moments contributes significantly to their overall comfort and dignity.
- Be Dedicated to Customer Service: Emphasize exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure optimal patient satisfaction. Your dedication to providing outstanding care will be valued and celebrated as part of our team.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Must be a graduate of a State-approved STNA program and hold current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA).
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a STNA in an acute care or LTC setting preferred. Hospice exp a plus!
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification if state-mandated
