IntroductionGRADE ASTD7 LOCATION OF POSITION MDH-Western Maryland Hospital Center 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue Hagerstown, MD 21742 POSITION DUTIES The main purpose of this Food Service Worker position is responsibility for receiving, storing and recording supplies for Dietary Department within the Western Maryland Hospital Center. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Inventory all supplies for Manager/Supervisors to order stock for storing
  • Return items to vendors as well as ensuring a secure environment for supplies and equipment
  • Sweep, clean, and mop storage areas, refrigeration/coolers and freezers
  • Support and assist Food Service Workers to perform tasks associated with the preparation and delivery of meals to residents and patients at Western Maryland Hospital Center and satellite facility Potomac Center/SETT
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation: None. Experience: None. DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS The desired candidate should possess experience with stock and first in and first out (FIFO). LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
