Located in the Historic Pullman District near 110th Langley, the CDC is conveniently located near the Metra and the Bishop Ford Freeway. The facility is two hundred seventy-three thousand square feet housing nearly twelve million books in inventory, and more than nineteen thousand units shipped daily. Job Information Job Summary: Responsible for regularly performing warehouse shipping and receiving duties and any and all duties of the Stock Clerk I, as directed by the Loading Dock Supervisor/Manager. Responsibilities: Receive and process inbound stock. Replenish bins with books. Other warehouse functions as instructed. Dusting/cleaning product and warehouse. Sweeping/mopping warehouse. Move stock and packing materials. Pack/repack loose stock to cartons. Competencies: Strong judgement needed. Competency in verbal and written communications. Perform multiple concurrent tasks. Work with limited supervision. Additional Requirements Education, Experience, and Certifications: Experience: Warehouse order fulfillment experience preferred. Technical Knowledge or Skills: Familiarity with CRT terminal preferred. Ability to read and calculate simple mathematical problems required. Warehouse order fulfillment experience preferred. Working Conditions: Warehouse environment. Exposure to moving machinery. High dust, dirt environment. High noise environment.
