The Community Corrections and Rehabilitation (DOCCR) department is seeking a Principal Stock Clerk.

Location and hours:
This position is located on-site at Hennepin County Client and Community Restoration, 3000 North 2nd Street, Minneapolis, MN 55411. Work hours will be Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

In this position, you will:
* Supervise, coordinate, and participate in receiving, storing, issuing, cleaning, delivery of equipment.
* Work with business partners to coordinate delivery and recovery of equipment.
* Maintaining equipment supplies and inventory. Provide information concerning equipment in stock, loss, damaged and returned merchandise assistance and update computer systems.
* Order inventory equipment to maintain adequate supply levels; and inspect goods received.
* Manage order forms, receipts, and tracking software.
* Gather inventory, review monthly charges and compile utilization reports.
* Generate reports.
* Collaborate with vendors to obtain equipment and to evaluate product use; interact with sales representatives regarding special orders and back orders.
Need to have:
* Three years of experience shipping, receiving and delivery of supplies, materials and equipment.
* NOTE: One year of coursework in resource allocation/supply chain management, inventory management, production and processing, and/or administration and management may be substituted for one year of the required experience (a minimum of 30 semester/ 45 quarter credits).
* Must be able to attain a Hennepin County drivers permit.
Nice to have:
* Experience with:
* Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSTS and package tracking software.
* Computers and operating specialized equipment.
* General supervisory duties.
* Knowledge of:
* Storeroom and stock control methods and procedures.
* Inventory procedures, inventory records maintenance and purchase order processing.
* Ability to:
* Work Independently.
* Stand, bend, reach, walk and lift up to 40 pounds.
* Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
* Prioritize daily operation needs and logistics.
