Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:Description:This position would be Saturday- Monday, 12 hour shifts (6am-6:00pm)Executes the receiving, storing, using, staging and distribution of materials required for assemblyof product. Responsibilities may also include manufacturing, assembly, basic testing, training andpackaging and shipping of products.Key responsibilities/essential functions include:Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts or fork liftsPicks parts/products for shipments ensuring accuracy of identification and quantityPhysically and systemically receive/issue individual material requisitions from internal andexternal departments Quantifies and verifies cycle countFills kits and deliver to production as requiredProcess material against purchase orders and work orders using electronic material managementsystemCoordinate with on-site and/or offsite warehousing facilities for parts replenishment and materialfor storageWork with appropriate logistics and production personnel to resolve/prevent part shortagesPerform cycle audits and physical inventory per scheduleHelp reconcile inventory discrepancies and report discrepancies to SupervisorFollows work procedures and schematics including complex instructions regarding duties to beperformedPerforms manufacturing/assembly operations and various tasks following procedures, bills ofmaterials, work instructions, and process aid sheetsAssists in the writing and/or developing of work proceduresWorks independently and completes basic troubleshootingMaintains daily production outputFollows all EHS and Quality policies and proceduresParticipates in quality control inspections when requiredWorks with team leaders, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and processefficiencyAbility to build rapport within the immediate team and with the broader organizationMaintain partnerships in job function and with assembly, materials, logistics, and test teamsacross the manufacturing operations and across all shiftsAdvanced and complex assembly and testing when requiredMay train other team members when requiredComply with EHS regulations and policiesOther duties as assigned, and may be asked to be included in quality activities, training sessions,and employee activity teamsRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED or local equivalentWillingness to work overtime if neededProficient in basic mathematicsProficient with basic hand tools such as but not limited to, saw, screwdriver, wrench, ratchetsBasic computer skills and software tools to include, but not limited to, Windows, Outlook & and Oracle ERPAbility to consistently lift, transport, move and / or manipulate boxes or other materials up to 50 lbsAbility to communicate, receive and understand instructions regarding duties to be performedTeam player who is accountable for team's success delivering business targets and takesresponsibility for decisions and outcomesDemonstrated ability for detail and quality-minded work habitsThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
