**The Opportunity:**

**JOCKEY** team as a Seasonal Stockroom Associate! You'll manage the physical receipt and display of inventory, while providing backup assistance as a Sales Associate when needed. You will provide excellent customer service through friendly engagement with our customers to assist in product selections while performing sales and register transactions.

Stockroom Associates will typically work 15-20 hours per week. Your sense of urgency will help you provide quick and friendly service to customers that results in an amazing shopping experience for your customer.

**Essential Functions:**

* Check-in freight and move stock to shelves to include, loading and unloading trucks.

* Manage the physical disposition of inventory in the storage area.

* Establish positive working relationships with co-workers, assuring a high productivity and accomplishing shared goals and expectations.

* Accurately and honestly handle all financial sales transactions.

* Demonstrate knowledge of complete the line of Jockey garment items and convey this knowledge to the customer.

* Provide custodial services for the closeout center to include, cleaning the bathroom, the breakroom, and the stockroom, and disposing of garbage.

**Additional Responsibilities:**

* Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.

* Solicits and listens to other suggestions, ideas, or constructive criticism.

* Observes all Jockey Policies and Procedures as stated in the manual..

* Manage inventory and custodial services.

* Provide assistance to the sales staff as needed.

**Candidate requirements:**

* Must be 16 years of age or older.

* Prior experience in retail back office receiving required.

* Retail sales skills required.

* Familiarity with eCommerce/internet retail.

* Strong communication and problem solving skills

* Ability to demonstrate keen attention to detail.

* Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

* Open availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, store openings and closings, to meet the needs of the business.

* Ability to move 25 pounds, effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, repetitive bending, prolong standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and ascending/descending ladder to stock and merchandise store.

* Ability to work with/around cleaning chemicals.
