Job Description Employee shall pull the appropriate lenses from the lens inventory in order, to fulfill the requirement for each Rx. Submit order to Outsource vendors and re-order breakages daily. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Primary Duties
Receive and tray up all outsource work as it arrives Monitor & assist in picking appropriate lenses to fulfill each Rx Overs-see cycle counts are done daily and accurately reconciled to master under 1% Responsible for helping in the yearly inventory count. Accuracy within 5% Receive all incoming lens inventory from various vendors Order all necessary lenses to fill Rx - Short orders Outsource specialty work to designated locations Re-order breakages and place to be re-binned Put new stock in correct inventory location Secondary Duties
Input all outsource lens costing into DVI Support in other departments dependent on business needs. Qualifications Education
- High School Diploma or GED.
Experience
- Experience in the Optical Industry as it relates to ophthalmic lenses is desired
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Able to work as a team
- Basic Math
- Able to read and write English Language well
- Basic computer skills
